The History of: The Original Brio
In 1957, three Italian immigrants migrated to Canada, missing their favorite flavor drinks, Chinotto, which is extracted from sour, bitter oranges. They imported the Chinotto extract from Italy and made the final product in Toronto, creating the Brio Chinotto. Distributed by "pop trucks," it became a favorite among Italian Canadian families. In 2017, five new vibrant flavours were added to the Brio family, including Aranciata, Aranciata Rossa, Limonatta, and Gasossa.
